Short version: we only ask for your email, we use it to send one weekly newsletter, and you can leave whenever you want.
What we collect
If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect the email address you give us. That is the only personal information we ask for. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
Why we collect it
To send you the weekly Eyes on Nusantara email: a short roundup of how the world's press covered Indonesia that week. We email you when you subscribe, and we stop when you unsubscribe. Nothing else.
Who handles your email
We store and send the newsletter through Kit, an email service provider. Your address is kept in our Kit account so we can send the newsletter. See Kit's privacy policy for how they process it on our behalf.
Analytics
Like most sites, we use Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate (pages viewed, rough location, device type). This is not tied to your newsletter email and helps us decide what to cover.
Your choices
Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it any time and we remove your address. If you want your data deleted sooner, reply to any of our emails and we will take care of it.
